Bülent Güneralp

Bülent Güneralp, bass-baritone, is equally at home in diverse genres including opera, musical theater, oratorio, art song and spirituals, and has performed as soloist in many productions with prominent organizations in the US, Japan and Turkey. Also a successful vocal instructor, Mr. Güneralp has taught voice and ear training classes at the Boston Conservatory, and master classes at the Berkshire Hills and Hamilton-Garret Music Academies. Welcoming adults and children of all ages, voice types, levels and musical genres, and using a natural, easy-to-understand, experience-based holistic method, he has taught students with equal success from backgrounds as diverse as opera, musical theater, pop, soul, rhythm & blues, bluegrass, rock and heavy metal. Bülent Güneralp is on the roster of Enterprise Opera in RI, on the faculty at Quincy Point Music Academy as vocal instructor, is an instructor at The Boston Center for Adult Education teaching music appreciation courses with an emphasis on opera and musical theater, is a member of Boston Opera Collaborative where he performs as well as serves on the artistic staffing committee, of the international contemporary music ensemble Musica Anatolia, and of the concert duo La Scena.
